This was immaculately packaged for shipping. It is designed for bollard and J hook earrings that can be hung closely together. The frame isn't too thick to hold them, but you'll need to attach the backing to keep them on the holder. I also have large earrings and I used one hole per "comb" so I was only able to use a fraction of the holes available. It worked out well with the amount of earrings I have, plus I was able to hang some bracelets at the bottom. I kept all of these earrings in a plastic box for decades, tucked away until I thought of them, so it's great to finally see them on display. This is definitely a quality product.
