Shocked at how cool they are

I recently bought an antique brass wall lamp and it has a small glass chimney. I put this bulb in place and it put out a small flame. Then I turned the lamp on and off once and the flame got much brighter. It literally looks like a big flickering flame. I expected these lamps to be different and acceptable. I didn't expect to be so pleased with how amazing the flame looks. I hope each pear lasts some time. Although it's worth the money.
