Everything you see in the pictures/advertisement is 100% true, they are noise canceling. So when you hear a song and sing along, you can't hear yourself. I will say that the wire is very long and the delivery took 5 days longer than indicated. So if your order is over $25 I will not pay for shipping. They sound like they're coming out of a speaker that sits in your ears, so it's a little different than the regular headphones you get at Walmart.
