Every few years I change my MP3 player when its cheaper predecessor becomes unusable. I know, I know, why do I keep buying these cheap players? 1. I love the ones that require an AAA battery. 2. Drag and drop any MP3 files. easy and efficient. 3. Do the math: I spend between $10 and $20 on these devices, which usually last a couple of years at least. I agree with some of the reviewers here, the player tends to repeat the same 4 or 5 songs so it's difficult for you to navigate through your songs and a little frustrating. I've used the shuffle/shuffle feature and it seems to help a bit, but I've bought cheaper MP3s from Brandmart (Coby brand) and they work much better than this one. I expected more from the RCA brand. UPDATE: FEBRUARY 6, 2015: THIS element is similar to a Rubik's Cube - you'll have to play around with the settings to get it to do what you want. I'm increasing my rating to 3 stars (actually 2.5, but oh well. Half stars don't exist in the Amazon system), just keep playing w. This and sometimes he deletes songs he keeps repeating and adds new songs , by deleting songs he likes to repeat. I'm telling you, this device has its own mind. But it is what it is.
