Great product but needs improvement in the volume button area

Great product but needs improvement in the volume button area. The hard plastic case squeezed the soft, bulky rubber shell no matter how hard I snapped the case into place. Thus, the volume was completely increased or completely reduced. I asked my daughter if she wanted me to send it back but she asked me if I could fix this because she liked the case. I shaved off about 1/32 inch on the hard case with a razor blade. Now it works great.
