This is made of wonderful smelling cedar. I didnt read that in the description.It fits perfect where my other small metal key holder with one slot for mail went. I like this larger unit for all the compartments over the hooks for our keys. I really like the finish and it picks up the color of the wall too. One side of the top is for our medical paperwork, like new prescriptions and next doctor appointments. It is just one bit of organized area in a disorgaized home! Also hubby tends to lose keys,phones and now his wallet. I see the open slots as a perfect spot for his wallet each day when he unloads his pockets. Also perfect for those little flashlights we can never find and a tape measure!He is currently having trouble finding screws to fit the hangers. I will update this when we have actually started using it. Update-My hubby has thousands of screws,nails tools. He had only one screw to fit the slot and had to grind another down to fit the other side.It is a great value with all the storage and plenty of hooks for keys and dog leashes! This would be great in a bathroom for makeup,washcloths on the hooks, hmmmmm
