This is a scarf but it can be dyed.
I bought these as a base product for dying ties with reactive fabric dye and tested them as a birthday present for my 99 year old grandmother. The comfort and suppleness of the fabric was endorsed by the birthday girl. The quality of the viscose scarf has not yet been determined for long-term or daily use, but 3 hand washes with soda soak/rinse/sintrapol, two machine washes/hang dry Sintrapol and two normal machine washes/bag dry for regular gym clothes and towels (my method for beta testing new drawstring clothes) didn't fray edges or let threads stick out.
