I have fairly thick medium length hair and 2 much older wrap turbans which I have been wearing for a few years now. They're getting old, so I've been looking for new ones. I thought they would work too, but I was dead wrong. They are very thin compared to the old ones, but I thought maybe the material would be more absorbent. I was wrong - if anything, it was like trying to dry my hair with a worn washcloth until it was dry. (about average for my last to keep my hair dry enough). After 30 minutes on one of these my hair was still almost wet, too damp to blow dry. Next time I used it I left it on for 45 minutes - same result, still too wet. Even after leaving my hair in it for an hour, it took me almost twice as long to dry my hair than with the "old" turbans. Very disappointed, will be sending them back.
