These are great needles! I was almost in tears. I bought a PE 770 and bought Schmitz embroidery needles from one of the big fabric chains (which should be compatible with all machines). Each broke within minutes of installation. I ended up looking on Amazon for embroidery machine needles that fit my machine and WILL NOT break. I was so happy to find these needles! They sew my models smoothly and beautifully. They are versatile and work with both regular polyester thread and metallic thread. These needles handle it all without breaking. You sew towels and t-shirts the same way. I don't know how I managed without them! Now I only change the needle when I feel it isn't sewing well due to dullness. which usually requires quite a few projects. Pros: Fits and works great with Brother PE 770. Easy to install. doesn't break The thread does not fray. still. If you are embroidering many things or just one thing for the occasion. You really need to invest in these needles!
