I really like this bag. I had it about 4 months. I use it to carry my lunch, laptop and other essentials to and from work. It's very spacious. It is also waterproof, easy to clean and wears well, which is not always the case with cheap bags. I was concerned that the bag would look "cheap" but it isn't. The inner pockets and the lanyard are very practical. Contrary to what some other reviewers have said, my bag stands on its own when empty. The straps are stiff enough to stand up on. It's great if you want to lift your bag without fiddling with the straps, but they get a little interfering when you're trying to load large items. I struggle to hold on to both straps with one hand while loading the bag with the other. Therefore 4 stars instead of 5. You are probably more coordinated than me. Due to the length of the shoulder straps, the bag can be carried comfortably over the shoulder, but does not scratch the floor when held sideways. This of course depends on your height.
