What is not clear on the product page is that they are intended as adapters to fit a 1 1/8" "fat handlebar" on a bike that mounts to a 7/8" handlebar fits standard size. They also set the bar a little higher in terms of design. I used them to bolt a Renthal TwinWall bar onto my old 1986 XR600R. They snapped and locked into place perfectly. Feels straight and solid, especially for a trail bike this old. I personally like it a bit when it gives me a boost, both for better cleaning of the large fuel tank I have on the bike and just for handlebar position and overall comfort. The red anodization is real red, not the ugly purple red I've seen on some parts. However, one star has to be deducted as it is obviously dirty and used on arrival. It's okay if the parts go to an off-road bike, but you still expect new parts. laugh out loud
