I bought the smallest one first so I could torment it. Nothing will scratch it. I've tried everything from cement to a steel file and everything has held up. The blowtorch caused a color change, but after washing it off it was still smooth on the inside and the pattern remained. I am married now and wear a full size ring every day. Be careful when picking up something you don't want to scratch.
