They really stay in place and thanks to the adjustable strap they fit both my 4 and 6 year old daughters. They even use them on me when they "play hair with me" because they relax enough to fight my head. I think they are comfortable and my 4 year old doesn't seem to have a problem with them but my 6 year old says they are not very comfortable. I can't get her to wear them to school all day, but she will wear them to dance class to keep her hair out of her face for an hour and a half. This is their limit. So I guess it depends on your kid and how sensitive their head is. For the money, this pack gives you a lot of variety and value.
