I planned to match boots with my daughter for family photos. We have never worn these boots yet (they're a size big and she has a pink pair from last year that still fit). I have the Hunter boot shine kit for my own boots, and did a quick rub on hers to get them really shiny for pictures.Right under the logo is a small tear! See photos. It's so small that I wouldn't have noticed if she wore them first.And normally, I wouldn't even care. Plenty of her shoes had a small scratch or scuff or something even though they were new. But for $48 boots on a toddler, any imperfection is unacceptable. I don't expect kid shoes to never tear or rip, but for these to have a hole, especially before she's going to wear them for photos, is irritating. Now I have to return these and probably shell out extra for expedited shipping even though my first order was 2 weeks before photos. So stupid.
