This twin sheet set was purchased for a 14" deep mattress. She washed the sheets before making the bed. The sheets, taken straight out of the box, didn't feel soft, but after being washed normally and then dried on a high temperature, they came out nice and felt very soft. The fitted sheet's deep pockets fit effortlessly through the 14" deep mattress while staying securely on the 4 corners of the mattress. It wasn't loose or too big. The top flat sheet is the perfect size, long enough to tuck under the base of the mattress while the sides are flush with the bottoms (both sides) of the 14 inch deep mattress. The top sheet does not tuck under the edges of the mattress if that is important to you. The pillowcase was perfect for a double pillow. The only weird issue was that the top flat sheet label (see photo) was sewn to the top of the sheet (wide stitched border) only on the side and not the bottom of the sheet. I cut it off because I didn't want the tag hanging around. If you need to keep the tag activated, this could be a problem/difficulty. The tags are required by law until purchase and can then be removed by the consumer if not used in a hotel-like environment.
