If you have a Wii U and use the controller a lot, you will notice how poor the battery life is, which is around 3-5 hours when I play with it. . With Uboost, it doubles the battery life of the Wii U controller and is easy to use. The only thing that worries me is the big difference in price for each color. The white model is much cheaper than the black model which costs about $7-$8 more. However, if you don't care about the color, go for the white model because it's cheaper.
