Great Natural Deodorant

I've got the 'nerd' so I'll explain the smell first. If you're like me, the little scent review video they have wasn't particularly helpful ("Smells like nature" made me laugh a little), so as someone with no experience describing fragrances, that's how I would put it . .Firstly, I like the smell and it's not overpowering. When you open deodorant you don't smell it, you either have to wave it around a bit or put your nose right there to smell it. When you first inhale, you will smell the citronella. It makes sense to look at the ingredients: *citronellol, *geraniol, both of which are obtained from citronella oil. I don't like citronella, but I usually associate it with bug spray, so I was a little surprised to find it in deodorant. I think the bug spray honestly reminds me a lot to get out into nature. I doubt that the deodorant will actually have insect repellent properties. After a few breaths, you kind of stop smelling the citronella and start trapping other smells. I really like the scents behind, my best description is that they are herbal and not floral. Not exactly floral, but herbaceous, slightly floral inclined. And beneath *that* grassy scent lies a deeper, earthier scent that needs digging in to capture. And the lingering citronella (or is it citrus?) in these base scents really reminds me of the forest floor after the rain. Smell this on me throughout the day to get to deeper things. And I think if a deodorant makes you come back like that, that's a good sign of a good scent. And I will say that the difference between this fragrance and non-natural products is day and night. If you compare them with each other, it is noticeable that the non-natural product appears flat and dimensionless in comparison. Overall a pleasant gender neutral scent. When it's over I can try No Green just to see how it is. But if I don't like it, I will definitely use this fragrance again. Now a general review of the deodorant. It lasted longer for me compared to Ursa Major. Results may vary, but after about 5:00 p.m., Ursa Major simply disappears. This scent really lasts longer and even if I don't smell it later in the night I don't smell the stench after it's gone like I did with Ursa Major so I didn't feel the need to refill. If I wore this to the gym I would imagine it would be a different story, but for just going to work and just dealing with the sweat from work it held up well. It's a bit dull when you first put it on. I'm not sure I'll let it dry a bit if it goes away but I don't have the patience or time for that in the morning so I just blotted my armpits with a rag to remove the extra goo and it seems to work. Bonus, this method allowed me to test deodorant removal from fabrics. I've noticed the deodorant has dried to a white crust on the fabric, but after rinsing it seems to be gone, so I don't think it left a stain. That was important to me when choosing a deodorant. A lot of natural deodorants use coconut oil in their product, which worries me because depending on the dye, the oils can strip the color out of your clothes. So when coconut oil stains your clothes, it's impossible to get it out because coconut oil *removes* the dye, not just puts more dye on it. I'm not sure if essential oils have the same effect, but since they are used as a fragrance in this product, their concentration is theoretically very low and insufficient to cause stains. If this changes and I notice stains on my clothes I will update this review.
