Confirmed it's real silk and holds my hair at night

My dark blonde fine thin hair breaks when looked at from the wrong side and has been a source of frustration for me for many years. Even though I don't dye my hair or use heat, my hair remains brittle and has a very difficult time growing back. On the advice of my stylist, I bought some silk pillowcases, which have definitely helped reduce nighttime hair loss, but now that I'm only washing my hair every other day due to the pandemic, I needed a way to keep my hair open at night . I've tried a few claw clips but the next day they invariably left me with weird twists and bumps in my hair. Although the price for three scrunchies seemed high, I decided to take a chance and ordered a set of three khaki scrunchies, all standard size. When they arrived I noticed they were a little different from my silk pillowcases, so I asked my mom for her opinion. As a passionate quilt and fabric maker, I knew she would find out if it was just satin or actual silk. She opened the stitching and confirmed that it was indeed silk. I washed them in a laundry bag with my other delicates and then let them air dry. I've worn them many times over the last month and they hold up my little bun pretty well all night and anyone with fine hair will probably tell you our hair is slippery. Even the non-slip scunci clips slip out of my hair. Sometimes I use a small hair clip near the crown but below the bun and I've also used it twice for the ponytail and it holds up comfortably every time. If you have thick or heavy hair your experience might be very different from mine but for those with fine to fine hair I would give it a try!
