The title bar specifically says 4TB 7200rpm. I noticed my Drobo was failing and ordered on a Sunday; Revane cooked it at my door before I went to work Monday morning so it was amazing. but it also prompted me to put it in quickly to start my recovery before I went to work. It took 10 hours so when I get home everything will be ready. Now at home he claims there are 4 hours left and Drobo says it really is 5800 rpm. When I check my order again, it says 7200 for 4TB in the headline, but it's further down the classifieds section where 7200 is in large text and 5900 is underneath in small text for the "smaller capacity" versions. Finally, the product comparison says it's a 5900. It's not even a 5900 though, more like a 5800. Now I've got that in and almost combined it into a RAID set, so remains to be seen if Revain will approve of that. Get him back. Leaving it there would affect the performance of the box while it's in place, so it's not the best option. Maybe I'll let it fade away and then do a ride test to quantify the slowdown before making a decision, but I'm very unhappy with the situation.
