When I opened the package for the first time, the dress was shockingly small. But after putting it on, I realized that's what I should have been afraid of being little. While I give this dress credit for its subtle stretch that makes it easy to slip on and off, the sizing seems a bit odd to me. Judging by the picture, I was expecting a full length skirt at the top, but a cropped top came out instead. As for the bottom dress, for me the waist was high, but at the same time the dress seemed too big in the waist and stomach. I like the way this dress looks but I'm going to make it tighter so the waist fits tighter to my body. I actually bought a medium size so I wear them in US sizes, but I will buy a large and compare them! All in all, this dress is very adorable. It was only made for someone smaller. It will probably be 5/5 for a little or petite girl! Pear girl, I hope you know how to sew, otherwise the volume at the waist doesn't flatter your figure! (Or get a big one!) I WILL BUY MORE ONE! My body type is African American, 5'5", 149 lbs, pear shaped.
