I bought this jacket as a gift so I can't comment on the durability of this jacket but I have to say it's great. The purple color isn't too flashy and the lining is like a t-shirt. Seems very comfortable but not too heavy. The front sweatshirt pocket is nice and the zip pocket is perfect for keys or a phone. Sizing seems to be a big point of contention so I'll give a clear description - I ordered both large and medium but ended up dropping the medium because the large fit perfectly and the medium would be too small. I usually wear a plus size in a women's top and this jacket is perfect when I'm not wearing a sweatshirt underneath. If I wore the hoodie underneath, it would probably have been too tight in the lower abdomen and hips, so I would go up a size. The armrests give enough space without appearing too big. The back length is longer, which is perfect for a windbreaker. I'm 5'8" and wear a size 14 jean. If my hips were wider I would need a size XL - my hips are 47". As this is a gift I can't give much feedback on wind or water resistance , but I may update later For my purposes (moderate build and bust) I would say the sizing was pretty accurate and unless you plan on putting something bulky underneath I would order your normal size.
