It has a loose fit, so it runs a bit large. If you want to wear it over fall or winter clothes, your normal size will do. Good quality jacket. It looks and feels durable. It can be dressed up or worn with a skirt or dress. This is not a lining, but a normal denim jacket. The buttons are made of metal. I'm small and it fits a little longer than I expected. I washed it cold and hung it to dry with no problems.
