Adjustable - perfect for a baby! (Yes, and borrow from Mom!) Not the highest quality. But for the price, you can't beat the cute and practical combination. If you're worried about your kid breaking them, they're going to have to try really hard. (and maybe you shouldn't leave the headphones alone then) The sound quality is decent - nothing special, but nothing to complain about! And let's be honest: 1) They're for kids, they don't need or care for Bose or Dre Beats sound quality - they want it, be prepared to pay for it. 2) Children rarely need a head. Phones anyway - they should be out of necessity or out of convenience in times when they have electronics (there are already too many kids with electronics for 'nannies'). And even if the child uses them, it generally makes more sense to use the device's speaker. We bought ours for a plane trip for my 2 year old. She used to hate using headphones and she was dying to use them!
