Easy installation. It took me longer to find the right size driver to remove the screw than to install this device. After reading other people's reviews I used a chopstick to hold the bracket in line with the screw hole so I didn't have to move the bracket after it was secured in the vent and dash. The sphere fits my Garmin nuvi 2789 and keeps the large screen a good height above the tablet. I just installed it, so I can't comment on durability. It's plastic (albeit a thick one) and sits on the dashboard in full sun, so the long-term effects of sunlight on the plastic remains to be seen.
