As for absorbency, not sure
Absorbency claims are a little intriguing. I've been using this towel for my son for a week now and it's not absorbing as quickly as I would like. I really have to towel him off a couple of times to get the water off his body. It almost just slides on and doesn't soak up like it should. This is not your typical towel fabric. He's skinny too. The design of the towel is also different and I'm not a fan of that. It's not that comfortable for me. I was drawn to the design because the colors are so vibrant and kids naturally love space cartoons. Not much for what he has to do.
