This shoe is good. I had another one actually given by an orthopedist and this one is better! It is more flexible, offers a deeper stretch and is more comfortable. However, don't think that you don't have to get used to it. You obviously sleep in a big boot! However, it is worth finding positions to sleep with your boots on as the results are amazing. As the accompanying video says, the plantar fascia tears and then heals during sleep, and if it doesn't heal in a stretched position, it tears as soon as you walk on it in the morning. My plantar fasciitis was so severe that I considered using crutches to stop walking on my feet. Not to mention the money I spent on doctors. After a night of wearing the boots there is a difference. And even though I was HOPELESS a few weeks ago, I actually caught myself thinking that maybe one day my leg will heal and I'll be able to walk, hike, etc. normally again. But I know that I have to devote myself to stretching. so it never happens again. In short, wearing boots, stretching during the day and arching your foot along with buying Dansko shoes has been the best route to (hopefully) healing. As I said, I see a difference. two nights have passed. so I hope for healing. And then, if so, I take care of myself so it doesn't happen again. I never knew that once my heel started hurting, one of the worst things I could do was go barefoot. So I stopped it. And also . My plantar fasciitis stems from problems with my Achilles tendon, so stretching this tendon along with the calf muscle is of paramount importance. But I absolutely recommend this product for those suffering from plantar fasciitis.
