It was a great idea, just needs some work. The metal insert was easy to clean BUT the metal turned into a weird rainbow of colors, the gasket in the lid was very easy to clean and super easy to put back on. Bought 2 pcs. They both did different things... This device smelled like hot plastic, but it wasn't hot to keep. It didn't hurt, it just smelled really strong for about 35 minutes. I put food in from the fridge and wait 60 minutes for it to warm up. After 25 minutes I checked the food and it wasn't as warm as expected. After 50 minutes I checked again, it was getting warmer. No plastic smell. I used just enough beans and some carne asada for the burritos…. This left enough time for a small meal. I can't write a second review for the second one as it behaved differently so I'll tell you it smelled like electric fire and didn't heat any food at all. I put some more food in it and used it to heat a puzzle. Tested at home, not on the go. I think if you put cold food in a metal insert and put it in a work bag or whatever for a few hours, it will sweat and cause problems with the electrical component inside. I returned both devices and got my money back quickly. The company is a great company. Maybe some changes will be made to this project.
