I needed a narrow side table and after hours of research I could only find one well made. Ironically, the company that sells them is based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, which has many paper companies due to the abundance of lumber. The product is made in China. Are there really no people in this country who can produce this simple product? Is labor so cheap in China that the cost of shipping across the ocean still makes such a heavy, bulky product much cheaper than one made locally?
