It is less than 7.9 inch

This is beautiful. but it is too small for my husband. I was about to return it but when my grandson saw it he was thrilled. So I'll keep that to myself for now and put it on his jacket. its 5.8 1/2 NOT 7.9 INCHES

I actually sewed it on to the jacket. I did try to iron it on but it wasn't a strong enough for me.
