Review on Metra 95-8202 Toyota Double DIN Multi Dash Kit, Black, Single by Dwayne Pore

One of the most disappointing products I have ever purchased. Finding the right kit was a research project in itself as there wasn't a proper catalog anywhere, so I had to trawl through the Revain forums and reviews to really figure out which one I needed. (Which took me a lot longer than I expected.) Second, although it claims to fit the Toyota FJ Cruiser 07, it only fits with major modifications. (At least for my 6.2" Pumpkin Head Unit that I installed.) And it wasn't an easy task to mod it. I'm no newbie to mods or tweaks, but getting this to work properly bored me until to the point where I had to buy a second set after throwing away the first.The shape of these things is so clumsy combined with the need to keep the face intact that it was difficult to trim the plastic.In the end i attached the plastic pieces to the straight metal edge and used a dremel to trim them to the right length.after the spoiled first set, the second one was satisfactory.don't know how many stars to give this thing.if it goes with your car fits that's great.(Although overpriced. Plastic is about 25 cents.) But if you need to change it.. Good luck, hope you have better luck than me.
