Really difficult to hang up. Each piece has a perforated hole but it doesn't come out so I had to use a pencil to poke it but then the hole was too big. You will need to cut the string for each item, drill a hole to thread them through, and then tie a knot at the back of each item so you can hang each item. Decorating for my party took way longer than I expected. The shapes are pretty cool. Spirals are shiny, flat plastic, while shiny ones have other shapes. By the way, adhesive tape does NOT stick to shiny ones.
