Review on Argan & Jojoba Beard Wash and Conditioner Set - Nourishes & Fortifies with Natural Sandalwood Scent - Beard Shampoo Enhanced with Beard Oil (5oz) by William Dean

Smells like baby powder, not sandalwood. But it works.

I never thought I was "the guy" with special grooming products, but here I am. Now I have special shaving products and a lot of beard care products. So far I have been happy with the quality of Viking Revolutions products and have been very happy with my sandalwood beard oil and shaving oils. I don't have a long beard (maybe an inch) and keep it pretty close to my face most of the time. Sometime between October and February my skin really dries out and my beard starts to shed leaving white patches on my shirt under the chin. No matter how hard I struggle with it, I can't get it under control. So I decided to try this remedy and it worked really well! I only use a coin sized amount in the wash and that seems like the right amount for me. After about 1 week of daily use, my beard is almost completely dry and flaky! I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty sure my beard is a bit softer and has less curl / stray whiskers sticking out in weird directions. I think the price is a reasonable point compared to other manufacturers and in general I'm happy with the performance. The quality of the product. However, I have a few disappointments about the product: 1) it smells like de Tskoi powder. Anyone who says it smells like sandalwood is crazy or has never smelled sandalwood. The scent is fresh but not very masculine. 2) I know it's just me waving the American flag but I dislike things being made in China for many reasons but mostly because I think their quality control isn't the best and I always worry worry about bad chemicals mixed in with product. May I recommend this product? Yes. But with the understanding that the taste is completely different.
