They are exactly as described. The size is accurate and very consistent. They're fairly strong for their size, unlike most basic wooden stirrers, which are thinner, much weaker, and easily splintered. And they are MUCH stronger than balsa. Ideal for identifying plants in the garden with a marker. I steamed one for a few minutes and bent it into a full circle without breaking or even splitting. You have to use the shape to make a perfect circle. Unfinished so it should take stains well. For my use they will look fine with clear impregnation. I think they would make a good coffee stirrer if I had to, but using them only once is a waste of time. Excellent purchase.
