Not a bad monitor, in fact I have a 144Hz version of the same monitor. This is a gaming monitor, but probably more suited to the casual gamer or movie watcher. Setup is easy with a single button and they can even be controlled using the MSI Display Kit (app). It comes with an HDMI cable, but you can also use DVI (why?) and DisplayPort (significantly better than HDMI if you can use it). It also has an audio jack if you want to run audio from the monitor, which can be annoying at times when your computer tries to use it as the default for audio. With 1800R, the flex is noticeable, but not enough to make you feel "immersed" in the gaming environment. If that's what you're looking for, a 1000R to 1500R curve is probably better for you.
