The white side is not white. It is grey. That's a problem. When the subject is closer to the light source than the background, it appears even grayer. When using it, it would be difficult to light the background separately to give it extra light to make it white as the subject would need to be too close to it. I had a hard time folding following the manufacturer's instructions on the website. Was about to return it but found a YouTube video showing a different way to fold. I'll leave it at that, but it takes more work in Photoshop to correct the background color in the images. To be honest I don't understand why someone who sells photophones doesn't understand that white has to be WHITE. Is it that hard to do?
