Update: I received a replacement gouache tool. Although the replacement also received chips, the overall cost and after-sales service are good. They are beautiful. Scooters are perfect. My first set had small nicks on the edge of the gouache tool. If you run your nails along the edges, your nails will catch on those nicks and chips. I decided to buy a replacement set. Unfortunately, the replacement kit suffered from the same problem. An ideal roller set, but small nicks and an even larger chip on the edges of the gouache tool. Overall a nice set of rollers but the gouache tool requires more quality control before packaging. It's a shame to come back just for this tool.
