Review on J K Adams Stemware 24 Inches 13 Inches by Rachel Marie

I ordered two of these to make a wine glass rack to hang from the ceiling in my kitchen above the counter on the peninsula. They're well made, but one of them wasn't as well finished as the other (the joint between the end joist and part of the frame on one side wasn't flush. This wouldn't be a big problem if someone installed them under the cabinet ( like me, I think that's what they're meant for) but since it wasn't perfect (especially for the advertised "New England Craftsman Carpenter") I can't give it 5 stars, but I had to give it a bit for my purpose It would not be noticeable after mounting under most cabinets It should also be noted that while the screws provided are probably perfect for under cabinet mounting, they were too short for my intentions - they only stick out about 1/2 inches above the top of the rack - again probably enough to mount under a cabinet (I don't want too long screws protruding through the bottom of the cabinet), but not even enough to di e drywall in my ceiling let alone the rafters Get some pieces of birch and make a frame for it These 2 studs also allowed me to better secure the stud in the rafters on the kitchen ceiling as the 16" Center spacing of the rafters in the area where I installed them did not allow me to cut into the frame as well as I would have liked. It also allowed for a stopper to be installed to keep the glasses from falling out the back (under a cabinet this probably wouldn't be a problem). Coat them with a few coats of clear, UV-resistant polyurethane to protect them from wet dishes. All in all a great purchase that I would have a hard time matching the price if I had made them myself (not to mention the hour or two of my time it would have been worth). Featured!
