I know a lot of people don't use paper calendars but I still do and by attaching this little pen holder to my calendar I was always ready to write down whatever I needed. I ordered a set of 12 books to give out to everyone at my book club because we haven't seen each other in person since the pandemic and these pen holders came in handy when we jotted down our schedule. Everyone loved them (but we're all retired teachers, so maybe we appreciate anything "school supplies" more than most). If you think you might find it useful I highly recommend getting a set. I don't know what I did before them. Well actually I know because I "tried" to attach a pen to my paper calendar but it never worked.
