Review on Frye Nora Knotted Hobo Beige by Jasmine Reed

I have a pair of Frye Parisian leather boots and am a big fan of their design and quality. This bag is no exception and I love it. First, the skin is soft and oily, with an incredible natural leather smell. The color is good too; I chose "Beige" and it's a great classic brown leather that isn't too dark or too orange like some brown leathers. The shape and size of this bag is also amazing. The bag is big, not too big. It's the perfect size to carry everything you need and more without being weighed down or overwhelmed by a huge, oversized shopper. The shape of the bag is mostly casual and awkward, but the overall boxy shape gives it some structure. Knotted handles add interest and some curves contrast with the boxy shape. Basically, I love that both the front and back are very clean, just two continuous layers of leather with no buttons, zippers, or useless frills to take my eye away from the smooth, gorgeous skin. This bag also has no metal hardware (other than an interior zip pocket and a hidden magnetic closure), meaning no metal can tarnish, rust, crack, or come loose and get lost. I love beautiful hardware, but the cleanliness and simplicity of a leather bag without it, and the knowledge that it's free of metal that can tarnish or break, is a guarantee that this bag will look beautiful for years to come. This bag will be with me for years, as will my trusty Frye boots (and still do). Some things never go out of style, and quality leather goods are one of them. Treat this bag with care and you will get compliments from it for years to come.
