These chairs are so pretty. They are sturdy and comfortable. I will be buying another set. I repurposed my old table and the color of the wood on the chairs is a dark walnut. The metal part I thought was going to be pure white, but is actually an off white. Which I didn't mind, it is actually very pretty. So when I repurposed our old table I used off white paint for the base and dark walnut stain for the top. It turned out beautiful. The only thing I didn't care about on the chairs, was the distressed look is just like a sharpie was used. But standing away from it, you don't notice. Not a deal breaker at all. The chairs were easy to assemble and they send you all of the tools you need to but them together.
