I think this should work.
I bought this for my daughter who's 8. It's going to be her bag for Disney world in June. I mostly bought it for the bright colors. Based on others reviews I figured her water bottle wouldn't fit in the side pocket. However we have a sunwill bottle and reduce and both do fit. It's a bit snug but they do fit. I mostly bought it so she can carry her own water bottle and a few snacks.
- The bag is perfect for minimalists who don't want to carry a lot of items
- The bag may not have enough padding for fragile items
