Review on Get swift with Logitech's M185 Wireless Mouse in Grey! by Hayden Xin ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not a good product, not worth the money.

The k275 keyboard and this mouse were purchased together in the year 2022. It is well crafted on the outside and would be a rather good product if it weren't for a few severe problems, including the following: - The mouse cursor, when used on any surface having noticeable lines, such as wood, fabric, or chipboard, moves along these lines rather than following the movement of the mouse. In point of fact, using this mouse when playing games or even just browsing the internet while lying in bed (the purpose for which this set was acquired) is excruciating. It is impossible to discuss any active games because the camera always seems to be staring down at the ground or up at the clouds no matter where it is turned. - despite the fact that the mouse/receiver has a fairly long range (enough for almost the entire apartment), there are times when the connection is lost for anywhere from five to fifteen seconds. When the connection is reestablished, the mouse begins frantically transmitting anything and everything it was able to gather in the time that it was disconnected. In my view, this is both an exceedingly inconvenient and perplexing situation. A claim comparable to that of the keyboard. If I didn't have this, I could confidently put either 4 or 5. In addition to that, due to the limitations of my local program, I'll add a minor negative to this. It took me a long time to figure out that the "smooth" scrolling function was to blame for the erratic behavior of the mouse wheel (when you turn it in one way, the page jerks up and down), but once I did, my life was finally made a little bit easier. The normal scrolling behavior resumed as soon as I switched it off, which was quite quickly.

Pros
  • It is not only lightweight and compact, but it also does not play or creak, and it runs for a long period on a single battery.
Cons
  • Accuracy in positioning and communicating with the computer turned out to be difficult because the controls were too small for my hands. software developed locally
