Review on IRIS Animal Single Seat Cover by Joanne Edwards

Traveling halfway across the country earlier this year I used a combination of tablecloths and dog blankets to line the seats and floorboards to cover. It was a bit of work (especially keeping them in place and washing them afterwards) but it worked. I was excited to get some kind of pet seat cover again. This type of hammock is a little different from regular seat covers. I like the theory but it just doesn't work for my 12 lb dog. Maybe if it was a little bigger. The hammock leaves too much room for him at the ends to jump between them (which he will do all the time and then have trouble getting up again). He also hangs a bit in the air (hammock style) which makes him nervous. He has never used a hammock and it doesn't come naturally to him. It also makes it harder for us to grab it from the front seat when needed. Thought I'd use it anyway, but I leave the tires that go on the front seat backs on the floor. So all I have to do is cover the floor and I'm ready to go. This will cover the seats but will eliminate those issues. It just doesn't work any differently with a sprightly, energetic 12 pound dog (who likes to chew and is very strong). I would probably recommend looking for a different seat cover and avoiding the hammock unless you have a small car. with a medium to large hand dog that suits this style.
