Review on JR Products 45619 Adjustable Holder by Scott Welch

I bought it and installed it in my car to hold the ashtray. The build quality is excellent. Adjustable arms ensure a snug fit with whatever you put in (although I still wouldn't trust that on a big gulp when cornering tight). The base is very solid. When not in use, you can quickly fold it into an unobtrusive 4x4 square that only sticks out about 3/4 inch. Construction is mostly thick, hard plastic with a metal mounting plate. Everything in it is very durable, you can tell when you touch it. In fact, it weighs quite a bit. If you're installing it in a car, I'd recommend throwing away the bolts that came with it and buying nuts and bolts instead. It will be much safer and more reliable. You'll need to drill holes wherever you mount it, so keep that in mind. I used some super glue to hold it exactly where I wanted it while I drilled the holes.
