later So I wanted to love it. and it does the job. It's cute and comes in fun colors. The components aren't outstanding, but they work. I bought it for functionality because my apartment was tiny and needed a light color. The sound quality was terrible. I knew it was but didn't know how much (until I bought another, cheaper, better built, also retro model from a competitor). Needless to say, I used this player for two months, after which I had to move; Originally I wanted to take it with me. Instead I threw it in the trash because I didn't want to fool anyone and after my local thrift store refused to accept it. I am 10000% satisfied with my new competitor model and it was over $100 cheaper. Of course it has no legs, which is what attracted me to this model, but I like to put another one on the table instead of this one.
