I make mint tea from fresh mint from my garden by adding hot boiled water to the leaves I put in the bottom of the teapot. When the tea has cooled down a bit, I put it in the fridge. I add some ice. It tolerates both heat and cold very well. It looks elegant and although the glass is thin it is strong and the tea looks very attractive when looking through it.
