DURABILITY I removed the star because the first time I put it on the ironing board, the white plastic piece that pulls the cord to hold the pad in place broke. out. I couldn't put it back on and the elastic thread won't pull out. The good news is that the elastic is strong enough to hold the pad in place and I didn't need the white piece.
