I needed something for my car that I bought from a smoker. The aerosol version worked well so I figured I wanted something that would work in the car when it wasn't driving. It seemed to work and they come in packages so I can put them in other places e.g. B. in my house. Even before I got to my car, I placed two around my house, next to the living room and next to the bathroom. The dog decided to make a mess in front of the bathroom door. I can usually spot them with my sense of smell, but I didn't notice anything until I literally saw the mess. I saw the mess before I smelled it! I was shocked. So, yes, I will say that they neutralize odors. In a cup they smell like lemon, but in my house it doesn't smell like lemon at all. Simply neutral. I like the product.
