It doesn't keep its shape
It's a good weight (light) not to add extra weight to a large bag, but my goal was to create easy-to-find compartments and keep the bottom of my bags where it should be inserted by bending at the bottom corners. The lack of any lateral or internal rigidity makes it useless as a liner to hold the shape of your expensive bag (tumi).
