The snap ring is the weak point.
The prop itself seems pretty good. Has a good opening effect. But the cheap locking ring they have on the end of the pin separates (flexes) after a few pulls. The ring was originally about 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch in diameter. Nicer shackles like this one have fused rings on the pull pin, but a bent wire ring can work if it's strong enough. I can probably fix it with another keychain.
